Dahl Consulting is seeking a Senior Manager, Customer Master Data Management (MDM) to lead enterprise-wide customer data governance and strategy. This hybrid role in Saint Louis Park, MN focuses on data standards, governance, and strategic SME leadership across business and technology teams.

Responsibilities include defining golden records, data quality frameworks, and regulatory compliance while partnering with master data management teams to drive data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of progressive experience in data management.
5+ years of experience working with customer master data, MDM.
Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and quality management.
Experience with MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM or similar enterprise solutions.
Experience using data governance, data catalog, lineage, and data quality management tools.
Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and data warehouse environments (Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
Strong understanding of customer data models, B2B hierarchies, legal entities, tax structures, and relationship management.
Experience partnering with business and technical teams to define data standards and governance processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job Description

Serve as the primary subject matter expert for customer master data and provide strategic guidance across business functions.
Partner with Master Data Management teams to define golden records, survivorship rules, data quality standards, and integration requirements.
Manage customer data enhancement initiatives, process improvements, and data quality remediation efforts.
Collaborate with data stewards and business stakeholders to support customer onboarding, customer record management, data lineage documentation, and governance processes.
Develop and monitor key data quality metrics, including accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
Perform data analysis and root cause investigations using SQL and related tools to identify and resolve data quality issues.
Maintain customer data catalogs, business definitions, metadata, and data lineage documentation.
