Job DescriptionA leading global organization in the advanced manufacturing and technology space is seeking a Manager, Master Data Management (MDM) to lead enterprise-wide data governance and master data initiatives. This newly created leadership position will be responsible for establishing and driving a scalable MDM strategy, improving data quality, and enabling seamless data integration across critical business systems.

As a key member of the organization's data governance leadership structure, you will partner with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT to define data standards, establish ownership models, and ensure master data supports strategic business objectives.

This is a highly visible role focused on governance, business transformation, stakeholder alignment, and program execution rather than software development.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP master data management, enterprise data governance, and cross-functional leadership, along with a proven track record of delivering large-scale master data initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of project or program management experience within enterprise technology environments
• 5+ years leading Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments
• Deep understanding of SAP master data domains including material, customer, vendor, and finance data
• Proven experience driving enterprise-wide data governance programs
• Strong knowledge of data quality, data migration, data cleansing, and governance best practices
• Demonstrated success influencing executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives
• Experience managing program scope, budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience supporting SAP MDG implementations
• Experience leading teams within manufacturing environments
• Background supporting Order-to-Cash, Supply Chain, or Finance business processes
• Experience working with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Snowflake, or similar ecosystems

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide Master Data Management strategy and execution
• Chair and facilitate the Data Governance Council, driving alignment on data ownership and standards
• Prioritize MDM initiatives based on business value, risk, and resource availability
• Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, hierarchies, and quality metrics
• Serve as the primary escalation point for data-related risks, ownership conflicts, and project challenges
• Oversee SAP master data initiatives including governance, migration, cleansing, and implementation activities
• Partner with business leaders to translate complex data requirements into business outcomes
• Lead and mentor data stewards, business analysts, functional leads, and external partners
• Manage user acceptance testing, cutover planning, and post-go-live support activities
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives
• Drive continuous improvement in enterprise data quality and governance practices
