Job summary

Dahl Consulting is seeking a Senior Manager, Customer Master Data Management (MDM) to lead enterprise-wide customer data governance and strategy. This hybrid role in Saint Louis Park, MN focuses on data standards, governance, and strategic SME leadership across business and technology teams.

Responsibilities include defining golden records, data quality frameworks, and regulatory compliance while partnering with master data management teams to drive data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of progressive experience in data management.
• 5+ years of experience working with customer master data, MDM.
• Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and quality management.
• Experience with MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM or similar enterprise solutions.
• Experience using data governance, data catalog, lineage, and data quality management tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and data warehouse environments (Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
• Strong understanding of customer data models, B2B hierarchies, legal entities, tax structures, and relationship management.
• Experience partnering with business and technical teams to define data standards and governance processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance, ownership, and management of enterprise customer data domains.
• Establish and maintain customer data standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Serve as the primary SME for customer master data and provide strategic guidance.
• Partner with MDM teams to define golden records, survivorship rules, and data quality standards.
• Manage data enhancement initiatives, process improvements, and data quality remediation.
• Collaborate with data stewards and stakeholders to support onboarding, record management, lineage documentation.
• Develop and monitor key data quality metrics (accuracy, completeness, timeliness).
• Perform data analysis using SQL to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Maintain customer data catalogs, metadata, and data lineage documentation.
• Serve as a liaison between business units, sales, marketing, legal, privacy, compliance, and tech teams.
• Lead change management related to data governance and business process transformation.
• Support privacy regulations compliance and governance policies, plus security classifications.
