Job description

World Central Kitchen (WCK) is seeking a talented relationship builder to join our Development Team as Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships. Reporting to the Director, Corporate & Foundation Relations, this individual will play a key role in advancing WCK’s mission by developing and growing innovative partnerships with corporations, foundations, and their employees.

This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, a collaborative mindset, and a strong commitment to WCK’s mission. The Senior Manager will directly supervise two team members and help drive a revenue stream that represents approximately 25% of WCK’s overall funding.

This position is based in Washington, DC with 2-3 days on-site per week.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of active and prospective corporate and private foundation donors, with a focus on securing major gifts from Fortune 500 companies.
  • Lead proactive outreach (phone, video, and in-person meetings) to deepen engagement, build long-term relationships, and secure sustained support.
  • Design and execute innovative cause marketing campaigns that align corporate partners’ brand and social impact goals with WCK’s mission, enhancing both visibility and revenue.
  • Lead and drive efforts to grow the Climate Disaster Fund through strategic outreach and partnerships.
  • Develop and execute strategies to engage multinational corporations, positioning WCK for international donor expansion.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Development Writing & Research to craft compelling proposals, reports, presentations and impact communications; ensure timely delivery and accurate CRM recordkeeping.
  • Support the Director in aligning corporate and foundation fundraising with organizational priorities and strategic initiatives.
  • Supervise and coach two colleagues on the Corporate & Foundation Relations team as they manage their own donor portfolios.
  • Identify and secure in-kind gifts to support WCK’s relief efforts.
  • Assist in the creation of sponsorship packages for events and marketing campaigns.
  • Represent WCK at conferences, events and industry gatherings to build connections, stay informed of industry news and identify new partnership opportunities.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a portfolio of corporate and foundation donors, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gifts.
  • 3+ years experience leading and managing development teams.
  • Proven track record designing and executing creative corporate engagement and cause marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with strong project management skills and the flexibility to pivot quickly to meet urgent needs.
  • Strong initiative with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Keynote or PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience working within a CRM, ideally Salesforce.
  • Experience working in multicultural environments (Preferred).
  • Prior success launching and managing large-scale fundraising initiatives (Preferred).
  • Alignment with the mission and values of WCK.
  • Must have valid passport.

Preferred candidates will also have previous experience working in a fundraising, development, or an operations environment, experience coordinating with outside vendors, and multicultural experience.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 USD Per Year
