Job summary

The Salvation Army of North Texas seeks a Corporate Giving Specialist to cultivate and solicit gifts from corporations and foundations, maintaining a donor portfolio and prospect pipeline. You will analyze gift potential, devise strategies, convert non-donors, and implement annual stewardship plans to recognize and upgrade support.

Travel within the North Texas Command and regular engagement with volunteer teams will be required, along with presenting results weekly and upholding Christian

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of experience in corporate relations and/or corporate giving.
• Ability to travel within the Command.

Responsibilities

• Assures The Salvation Army’s impact, mission, programs and services are presented in a strong, positive image to potential and current corporations.
• Maintain a portfolio of corporate donors and a prospect pipeline to raise funds for The Salvation Army of North Texas.
• Analyze gift potential of corporations and devise strategies to solicit gifts.
• Create and implement a process for converting non-donor corporations whose employees volunteer with The Salvation Army to donors.
• Create and implement an annual plan for corporate stewardship, recognition, retention and upgrading.
• Develop and implement strategies to identify, cultivate and solicit potential and current corporate donors toward gift closures.
• Analyze and report progress and financial outcomes of activities weekly.
