Job summary

The Salvation Army North Texas Area Command is seeking a full-time fundraising and donor relations professional in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on cultivating corporate donors, analyzing gift potential, and developing strategies to solicit and steward gifts.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, with at least three years in corporate relations, and can manage portfolios and volunteer engagement to maximize giving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of experience in corporate relations and/or corporate giving.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assures The Salvation Army's impact, mission, programs, and services are presented in a strong, positive image to potential and current corporations.
• Maintain a portfolio of corporate donors and a prospect pipeline to raise funds for The Salvation Army of North Texas.
• Analyze the gift potential of corporations and devise strategies to solicit gifts.
• Create and implement a process for converting non-donor corporations whose employees volunteer with The Salvation Army to donors.
• Develop annual plans for corporate stewardship, recognition, retention, renewal and upgrading.
• Identify, cultivate and solicit potential and current corporate donors toward closing gifts; report progress weekly.
