Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, Community Impact to develop and oversee external communications strategy that elevates Lowe’s reputation and highlights its impact across community investment, disaster response, sustainability, military support, volunteerism and partnerships.

Reporting to the Senior Director of External Communications, this role will lead earned media initiatives, manage agency partners, and collaborate across the enterprise to craft

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in corporate communications or earned media
• Experience developing integrated communications strategies that strengthen corporate reputation
• Experience leading communications for community impact, nonprofit partnerships, sustainability or philanthropy
• Strong media relations with national, regional and local coverage
• Proven ability to influence across functions and build relationships with senior leaders and agencies
• Experience managing agency partners and developing high-performing talent
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment during high-profile or time-sensitive events

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute external communications strategy to elevate Lowe's reputation and impact
• Lead earned media strategy for community impact, grants, partnerships, volunteer engagement, disaster response and sustainability
• Create proactive storytelling opportunities with third-party credibility and earned media
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and ideation across the enterprise
• Build partnerships with national nonprofits and internal business leaders to align communications with enterprise priorities
• Develop integrated communications plans, messaging, media materials and executive counsel
• Manage agency teams to deliver high-quality earned media and consistent Lowe's narrative
• Lead communications planning for disaster response stories and timely storytelling
• Identify trends and real-time opportunities to enhance Lowe's reputation as a trusted corporate leader
• Monitor landscape and mitigate reputational risk; advise on community impact and sustainability initiatives
• Define success metrics and demonstrate impact of communications on reputation and business objectives
• Coach and develop one team member and foster a high-performing culture
