Job summary

NIQ is seeking a Manager of Corporate Accounting to join our finance team. This role serves as SME for critical accounting areas including share-based compensation, pensions, and other benefit programs, debt arrangements, derivatives and key accruals.

The position reports to the Assistant Global Corporate Controller and focuses on ensuring US GAAP compliance and timely closes. You will collaborate with HR, Legal, Treasury and FP&A to manage close processes, audit support, and internal controls,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA required.
• 5-8 years of progressive relevant experience in public accounting or multinational organization.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, especially share-based compensation, pensions, debt and derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting for share-based compensation, including valuations and expense recognition.
• Prepare share-based compensation-related journal entries, reconciliations, roll forwards and schedules for internal/external reporting.
• Oversee accounting for pension plans, 401(k) contributions and other long-term and post-employment benefit programs.
• Oversee debt portfolio accounting, including interest accruals, costs amortization and covenant reporting.
• Oversee derivative instruments accounting, including hedging designations and measurements.
• Drive month-/quarter-/year-end close activities with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures and external audits.
