Fivetran is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting to lead the corporate accounting function and shape the next generation of the Finance organization in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

You will own the GL, close processes, and internal controls while driving automation and AI-enabled improvements across accounting. The role emphasizes strategic design, operational excellence, and building a high-performing team in Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a public company or similarly complex environment.
• 4+ years of people leadership experience; experience managing managers preferred.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial close processes, internal controls, and accounting operations.
• Experience within a SaaS, software, technology, or data business strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading meaningful Accounting or Finance transformation initiatives.
• Strong systems orientation with experience improving ERP, close management, reconciliation, workflow, or other Finance technology platforms.
• Strong understanding of AI and automation and an ability to translate emerging capabilities into practical accounting applications.
• Excellent project management, change leadership, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution and influence stakeholders across Finance and the broader organization.

Responsibilities

• Own corporate accounting operations, including the General Ledger, month-end and quarter-end close, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany, and related activities.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring financial results are accurate, well-supported, controlled, and delivered on time.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and build processes that scale with the growth and complexity of the business.
• Partner closely with Technical Accounting, Revenue, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Legal, IT, and other teams on accounting and business matters.
• Support external audits and financial reporting requirements.
• Drive transformation & AI adoption by automating and modernizing accounting processes.
