Job summary

AG1 is seeking a Senior Manager, Contract Manufacturing to lead and optimize our contract manufacturing network across beverage, gummy, and powder formats. You will align with Quality, Product Development and Supply Chain to scale processes, ensure quality, and drive cost efficiency.

The role reports to the VP of Manufacturing and requires extensive experience with third-party manufacturers, strong project management, and the ability to balance speed with rigorous quality standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with third-party contract manufacturers and leadership in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in consumer goods manufacturing, production processes, systems and vendor management.
• Hands-on with ready-to-drink, gummies, or softgel manufacturing preferred.
• Diagnose production issues, manage multiple streams and drive external partner improvements.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day performance of contract manufacturers across varying form factors, ensuring quality, service, cost and timelines.
• Monitor production plans, capacity and shipment readiness; address supply risks during high demand.
• Partner with Quality to uphold specifications, standards and compliance; support inspections and issue resolution.
• Investigate production or product variation; identify root causes with manufacturers and drive corrective actions.
• Support development and commercialization by translating requirements into repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Transfer and scale processes across partners while maintaining consistency in quality and execution.
• Identify and implement improvements to yield, efficiency, cost, and reliability.
