Texas Workforce Commission seeks a highly driven leader to manage Continuity, Emergency Management, Enterprise Risk and Compliance within the Risk & Security Management Department. You will guide front-line staff, optimize performance, and align activities with organizational goals.

You will oversee complex programs, collaborate with state partners, and drive policy development and reporting. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced, public-sector

Qualifications

• Four years of full-time experience in developing, implementing, or interpreting policies and procedures in a public or private agency, with at least one year in administrative management or supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Continuity of Operations, Emergency Management, Enterprise Risk & Compliance programs.
• Act as liaison to state partners such as the Texas Division of Emergency Management and State Office of Risk Management.
• Plan development and implementation of department initiatives and goals.
• Oversee development of reports, policies, plans, and procedures.
• Supervise departmental staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Motivate and develop staff, prepare and evaluate budget requests, monitor expenditures.
• Perform HR functions including time and leave and performance evaluations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
