Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager, Operations & Consolidations to lead the team responsible for the consolidation close, intercompany eliminations, and allocations across all entities. You will own the monthly/quarterly close calendar end to end, driving automation and AI-enabled improvements in Finance Operations.

Partner with IT and external auditors to ensure accuracy and audit readiness, while mentoring a technical accounting team and shaping best practices across the close

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with multi-entity consolidations.
• 2–3 years in a people-management role.
• Experience in financial services, broker-dealer, or fintech.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
• Experience with FloQast or a similar close-management/automation platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead Financial Systems & Operations team, setting priorities and reviewing work.
• Own the consolidation close end to end, including intercompany eliminations and allocations.
• Lead close governance meetings and identify opportunities to streamline the close.
• Drive FloQast adoption and automate tasks to shorten close timelines.
• Identify and implement AI/automation tools to reduce manual effort in close and reporting.
• Support FP&A, Controllership, Tax, external auditors, and business-unit finance leads as needed.
• Partner with IT on NetSuite configurations and issue resolution; liaison between Finance and NetSuite admins.
• Collaborate with other Finance teams to align consolidation with broader reporting timelines.
• Own quarterly analytics and prepare flux/variance analyses for auditors.
