Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Manager, Compensation in San Francisco to shape our compensation strategy and drive pay equity and total rewards effectiveness. You will partner with HR and executives to define philosophy, support executive decisions, and govern equity programs.

You’ll lead a team of Compensation Business Partners and push process improvements and data-driven insights. The role requires strong HR/compensation background, Workday experience, and a focus on market benchmarking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in HR, compensation, or related field with leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel; familiarity with Workday.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to design competitive compensation packages.
  • Develop and maintain the company’s compensation philosophy.
  • Lead equity program design and governance initiatives.
  • Prepare analyses for executive compensation decisions.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Compensation to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will shape and execute a comprehensive compensation strategy that supports competitive pay practices, pay equity, and total rewards effectiveness. You will partner closely with HR and business leaders to guide compensation philosophy, executive decision support, and equity governance. In addition, you will lead a team of Compensation Business Partners while advancing process improvements, market insights, and technology-enabled efficiency across the compensation function.

Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $229,000 – $343,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Fluency in federal and state labor laws related to pay and compensation
