HANA Center in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Manager of Organizing to lead base-building, campaigns, and leadership development for immigrant communities. You will supervise organizers, coordinate strategy with the Executive Director, and drive campaigns that align services to organizing across programs.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep commitment to racial, economic, and immigrant justice, with flexibility for evenings and weekend events.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to immigrant rights and social, racial, and economic justice.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and develop staff leadership.
• Experience supervising staff and managing campaigns.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, diplomacy, and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and guide Organizing Team staff, interns, and fellows.
• Build a strong base of multigenerational leaders through outreach, listening sessions, and leadership development.
• Develop organizational strategy, goals, and plans with the Executive Director and Organizing team.
• Strengthen and manage the membership program with ongoing engagement.
• Coordinate campaigns, civic engagement, and power-building activities across programs.
