Groundworks New Mexico is seeking a motivated individual to recruit and engage community members, develop leaders, and support grassroots organizing campaigns. The role involves coordinating events and maintaining member engagement while advocating for social justice.
Successful applicants will be bilingual in English and Spanish, possess strong communication skills, and be committed to community-driven efforts. Evening and weekend work may be necessary, and reliable transportation is required.
Recruit and engage members, develop community leaders, support grassroots organizing campaigns, and build relationships with immigrant families and low-wage workers. Conduct outreach, facilitate meetings and trainings, and support local and statewide organizing efforts.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Coordinate events and community actions, maintain member engagement, support coalition work, assist with leadership development programs, track program metrics, and contribute to campaign planning and implementation.
Other Information/Requirements:
Bilingual English/Spanish required. Strong communication, relationship-building, and facilitation skills. Commitment to social, economic, and racial justice. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation required. Evening and weekend work may be necessary.
Starting salary is $45,000 and is dependent on qualifications and experience.
