Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior Manager, Cloud Sales and Margin Accounting to lead the accounting and financial oversight of the cloud solutions portfolio, including cloud resale, managed services, subscriptions, and consumption-based offerings.

You will ensure accurate revenue recognition, cost accounting, gross profit reporting, and SOX compliance while partnering with business leaders to drive growth and profitability across the cloud business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional accounting/finance experience.
• 4 years in accounting and 3 years in a management role.
• CPA certification and public accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with cloud, technology, SaaS, managed services, or subscription models.
• Experience with large, publicly traded entities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month/quarter/year-end close for cloud revenue and costs.
• Design scalable end-to-end cloud accounting processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Cloud Operations, and Technology on offerings and programs.
• Provide guidance on complex cloud transactions and evolving business models.
• Establish accounting policies, controls, and governance frameworks.
• Support forecasting and analyze revenue/profitability drivers.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Lead and develop the accounting team toward operational excellence.
• Support internal and external audits and SOX compliance.
