Job summary

CDW LLC in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager, Cloud Sales and Margin Accounting who will oversee the accounting and financial governance of the cloud solutions portfolio, including resale, managed services, subscriptions, and usage-based offerings.

You will drive close processes, implement scalable controls, partner with Sales, Cloud Operations and Technology, mentor team members, and ensure GAAP compliance, while supporting growth and profitability across cloud businesses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience with 4+ years in accounting and 3 years in management.
• CPA certification and public accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with cloud, SaaS, managed services, or subscription revenue models.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting and financial oversight of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes related to cloud revenue, cloud costs, and other cloud-related accounting activities.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable processes that support the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for cloud revenue, cloud costs, and related financial activities.
• Partner with Sales, Cloud Operations, and Technology teams to support new cloud offerings, commercial programs, and strategic initiatives, ensuring operational readiness and financial governance are established upfront.
• Provide accounting leadership and business guidance on complex cloud transactions, commercial arrangements, and evolving business models, balancing technical accounting requirements with operational practicality.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, controls, and governance frameworks that support accurate financial reporting while enabling business growth and scalability.
• Partner with Financial Planning & Analysis teams to understand financial trends, support forecasting activities, and improve visibility into revenue and profitability drivers.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes, simplify workflows, and leverage technology, data, and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance decision-making.
• Advance the performance and development of coworkers across the team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence.
• Support internal and external audit activities and maintain a strong control environment that supports compliance with company policies, SOX requirements, and financial reporting obligations.
