Job summary

Oracle OCI Networking is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Network Development Engineering team responsible for design, deployment, automation, and operations of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s global network. You will mentor engineers, drive runbooks and automation, and shape long-term infrastructure strategy.

The role leads a high-performing team across engineering, lifecycle management, and architecture, with broad responsibility for delivery of platform enhancements and network solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in large-scale cloud or hyperscale networks.
• 3+ years in engineering management or technical lead capacity.
• Strong expertise in networking protocols, cloud networking, and datacenter networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts supporting a global network footprint of hundreds of thousands of devices.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve scalability and operational efficiency.
• Mentor engineers and develop a high-performing team.
• Define milestones with program/project managers and own runbooks and procedures.
• Serve as SME on software development projects for network automation.
