The role leads clinical laboratory project management activities that support study start-up and ongoing development, partnering with clinical study teams, laboratory operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to keep timelines, biomarker deliverables, and biospecimen workflows aligned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or cross-disciplinary academic/government teams.
• 5+ years of experience in Clinical Trials, with a focus on clinical sample collection.
• Extensive experience in clinical laboratory operations and biospecimen logistics.
• Strong understanding of technical, clinical, and strategic aspects of laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical laboratory project and program timelines to ensure study starts are on track.
• Act as a subject matter expert on central and specialty laboratory processes.
• Keep biomarker strategy delivery schedules aligned with clinical development programs.
• Oversee clinical laboratory operations goals, ensuring clear objectives and deadlines are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners in clinical development.
• Implement operational decisions based on clinical laboratory trial requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clinical study teams regarding laboratory program direction.
• Design and develop processes to enhance Clinical Laboratory Project Management.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Clinical Lab Project Management to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.
This role will lead clinical laboratory project management activities that support study start-up and ongoing clinical development execution. The position partners closely with clinical study teams, laboratory operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to keep timelines, biomarker deliverables, and biospecimen workflows aligned. This is a highly visible opportunity to strengthen laboratory program direction and improve processes that support efficient trial delivery.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $134,400 – $219,200 annually
