Job summary

The Ladders is seeking a Sr. Director, Scientific Affairs to join a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This senior leadership role will oversee scientific and operational support across client-facing engagements, with a strong focus on global laboratory partnerships and clinical research execution.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $181,400 – $225,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences; PhD preferred.
• 15+ years in the CRO/lab industry or equivalent.
• Proven leadership in global laboratory networks.
• Experience in operational protocol analysis and budget review.
• Strong background in clinical development and operational execution of trials.
• Experience managing third-party lab partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational support for RFPs and bid defense meetings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop operational strategies
• Mentor and train team members in clinical research specifications
• Own global third-party lab relationships and metrics reporting
• Create and refine specifications for client protocols
