Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Sr. Manager, Client Base Acquisitions in Rochester to drive local and regional client base acquisitions from payroll service bureaus.

You will shape strategy, identify targets, perform due diligence, negotiate terms, and oversee closing and post-close onboarding and upsell efforts. You will collaborate with corporate development, finance, risk, legal, operations, sales, HR, and marketing to ensure successful execution across the entire lifecycle and achieve incremental

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
• 10+ years in strategy, M&A, sales leadership and channel management.
• Experience driving business development with P&L responsibility in relevant industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategy to identify and close client base acquisitions.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across corporate development, finance, risk, legal, operations, sales and HR.
• Manage the transaction lifecycle from origination to post-closing onboarding and upsell/retention.
• Communicate program results, opportunities, and policies to all stakeholders.
