Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Sr. Manager, Client Base Acquisitions to drive growth by acquiring local and regional payroll service bureau clients.

You will shape strategy, manage a targeted pipeline, and align cross-functional teams to close deals and onboard new clients. This role emphasizes collaboration with corporate development, finance, risk, legal, and marketing to optimize the full transaction lifecycle from origination to post-closing, including upsell and retention initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
• 10+ years in strategy, mergers & acquisitions, and related roles with P&L experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategy to identify and close client-base acquisitions.
• Manage channel and pipeline by targeting payroll service bureau organizations.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with key partners across departments.
• Deliver reporting and leadership communications on program results and opportunities.
