Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Senior Manager, Client Base Acquisitions to drive growth by identifying and closing local payroll service bureau acquisitions, expanding the client base and revenue. You will work with leaders across corporate development, finance, risk, legal, operations, and marketing to execute strategy, manage the pipeline, and guide deals from origination to post-closing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in strategy, mergers & acquisitions, sales leadership, channel management, business development with P&L responsibility in related industries.

Responsibilities

• Development & Execution of Strategy: drive net-client growth by identifying and closing client base acquisitions of local, regional payroll service bureau organizations.
• Channel & Pipeline Management: build a targeted list of acquisition targets and foster relationships with owners of payroll service bureaus.
• Collaboration & Communication: align cross-functional partners to support the strategy across the transaction lifecycle from origination through post-closing.
• Reporting & Leadership: communicate results, opportunities, promotions, and policies to all involved parties.
