Now Brewing – senior manager, Circularity! #tobeapartner
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.
We are seeking a strategic leader to advance Starbucks’ packaging recovery and waste strategy in a dynamic and rapidly evolving policy, infrastructure, and stakeholder landscape. Packaging and waste are among Starbucks’ most material sustainability priorities and require collaboration across a broad ecosystem of partners, from policymakers and industry coalitions to recyclers, recovery organizations, suppliers, communities, and operational teams. Circularity is a team sport, and this leader will play a critical role in helping Starbucks understand, influence, and strengthen the systems that enable packaging recovery and waste reduction at scale. Through industry engagement, partnership development, landscape assessment, and recovery system advancement, this leader will help inform enterprise strategy while leading the team responsible for waste strategy and operations. As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, they will translate emerging trends, risks, and opportunities into actionable recommendations that support business performance, compliance readiness, and long-term circularity goals.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
