Job summary

Woodstream is seeking a Manager, Chemical R&D and Lab Operations in Lititz, PA to lead chemical product design and oversee the corporate laboratory. This role directs testing strategies, ensures safety and quality, mentors lab staff, and collaborates with engineering, sourcing, and commercial teams to deliver consumer‑qualified products.

The Manager will guide development from concept to production, align initiatives with Woodstream’s business objectives, and drive innovation across testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related STEM.
• 7–10 years in chemical engineering design, NP development, and lab management.
• Advanced proficiency in chemical formulation, prototyping, and testing.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and data-driven evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, formulation, and development of chemical products for complex projects.
• Manage daily laboratory operations, scheduling, equipment calibration and safety.
• Direct product testing activities, evaluations, and competitive analyses.
• Develop and maintain testing protocols for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and commercial teams to align goals.
• Maintain records and present findings to leadership.
