Job summary

Institute of Management Accountants, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager to lead CFO Advisory engagements in financial services, guiding delivery and client relationships. You will help win new engagements through scoping and proposals, while mentoring staff and shaping firm programs.

You will collaborate with partners and managers to drive growth, profitability, and client satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. CPA certification and 8+ years exp. are required.

Qualifications

• Eight (8+) years' experience in a large accounting firm (audit, financial advisory, or transaction services).
• Five (5)+ years' supervisory experience and mentoring.
• CPA certification.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and deadline-management skills.
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills with ability to generate data-driven insights.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with experience presenting analyses to management.
• Ability to build relationships with senior client personnel and participate in executive discussions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engagement delivery and interact with client executives to ensure satisfaction.
• Anticipate client needs and manage issues proactively.
• Schedule and track deadlines to meet client expectations.
• Engage with senior client personnel and cross-disciplinary teams to support delivery.
• Identify opportunities for service expansion across the firm and pursue new engagements.
• Mentor and develop managers and senior staff, supporting staff retention and growth.
• Drive profitability and collections objectives aligned with engagement risk and staffing.
• Support firm-wide initiatives and cross-service collaboration to maximize client impact.
