Job summary

PM Human Capital Solutions is partnering with an established financial and business advisory firm expanding its CFO Strategic Advisory practice and seeking a Senior Manager to join the team in New York. You will work with senior leadership to deliver strategic finance and transformation engagements while shaping the practice, its solutions, and growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in public accounting, advisory/consulting or corporate finance.
• Strong technical accounting skills and hands-on knowledge of close and financial reporting.
• Experience with finance technology, including major ERP/financial platforms, is valued.
• CPA, public accounting/audit experience preferred.

I’m working with an established financial and business advisory firm that is expanding its CFO Strategic Advisory practice and looking to add a Senior Manager.

This is a particularly interesting opportunity for someone who wants more than a traditional accounting or consulting role. You’ll join a growing advisory platform and work directly with senior leadership to deliver strategic finance and transformation engagements while also helping shape the practice, its solutions, and its future growth.

The practice focuses on three primary areas: Strategic Financial Leadership, Finance Operations Advisory, and Digital Transformation.

What you’ll do

• Lead strategic finance and transformation engagements
• Advise CFOs, finance leaders and other senior stakeholders
• Lead finance function assessments, process improvement, reporting and controls initiatives
• Support budgeting, forecasting, FP&A and business continuity projects
• Participate in ERP and digital finance transformation initiatives

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience, including at least three years in a supervisory capacity, gained within public accounting, advisory/consulting or a sophisticated corporate finance environment. Strong technical accounting skills and hands‑on knowledge of the close and financial reporting process are important.

Experience with finance technology is also highly valued, including platforms such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Enterprise, Dynamics 365, Workday Financial Management, or similar systems.

CPA, public accounting/audit experience preferred.

This could be an excellent fit for a public accounting/advisory Senior Manager or experienced Manager who enjoys client service but wants broader exposure to CFO advisory, operational finance and transformation work.
