Join to apply for the Senior Manager, Category Marketing role at The Home Depot.

The Senior Manager, Category Marketing is responsible for developing long- and short-term strategies and business positions for multiple merchandise departments. This role acts as the primary liaison between Merchandising leadership, especially the Senior Vice Presidents, and all Marketing cross-functional departments. The position also manages strategic development and cross-functional communications, and may serve as the marketing lead for one or more departments.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing budget deployment and approval for cross-functional marketing activities.
  • Serving as the communication liaison and project manager for Retail Media+ Partner Management and Audience Marketing teams.
  • Developing annual strategic marketing playbooks and updates based on analysis and input from various teams.
  • Collaborating with senior merchandising leadership to develop and execute marketing strategies.
  • Leading and developing a team of marketing liaisons within merchandising departments.

Reporting Line: Typically reports to the Director, Category Marketing, with various direct reports.

Additional Details:

  • No travel required.
  • Primarily seated work with occasional movement; light lifting may be needed rarely.
  • Located in a comfortable indoor environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • Excellent communication skills, a bachelor's degree in marketing or related fields, and 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in retail or consumer product marketing, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel, and strong leadership abilities.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills and knowledge of market research and analysis.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.

Minimum Years of Work Experience: 7 years.
