NYC Health Department seeks a City Research Scientist (21744) to support population health research and policy development. The position requires advanced degrees and relevant supervisory or research experience as outlined in the appointment levels.

Working within NYC’s equity and public health mission, you will collaborate across agencies, contribute to science-based decision making, and advance health outcomes for New Yorkers through applied research and policy guidance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physical, biological, environmental science or public health field.
• Doctorate degree with required experience for higher levels (Assignment Level II and above).
• Two years as City Research Scientist Level I can be substituted for higher-level experience.
