Qualifications

• Eight years of recent tax experience in public accounting, corporation or asset management firm with alternative investments
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA/EA/JD/LLM or approved credential must be held or obtained within one year of hire

Responsibilities

• Build and manage client relationships while managing a portfolio of large clients and act as a first point of contact for internal and external clients
• Manage relationships at a senior level with large clients, advise on tactical issues, oversee service delivery, and supervise teams of tax professionals
• Handle risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and budget for assigned projects
• Assess the tax impact on clients, develop tax arguments to support conclusions, and suggest recommendations
• Participate in market activities externally and provide direction to and mentor the team
• Act as a coach and mentor to other tax professionals
