Senior Manager, Business Operations Cost Management

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager, Business Operations Cost Management, responsible for cost management activities related to clinical trials. The role involves working at the portfolio, program, and functional levels to measure cost, productivity, efficiency, and quality, enabling informed decision-making within Regeneron's clinical development portfolio.

The Senior Manager will serve as a business partner, providing critical support to GD, Development Operations & Portfolio Management (DO&PM), Procurement, and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze CRO algorithms to support resource, cost, and assumption analyses at various levels.
2. Enhance business analytics for prospective and retrospective measurements to support decision-making.
3. Assist Procurement and Clinical Study Managers in verifying and challenging study resourcing and cost estimates.
4. Compare study assumptions and cost estimates against industry benchmarks and historical data.
5. Track data to identify cost and assumption trends across vendors and therapeutic areas.
6. Model impacts of assumption changes on costs and resources.
7. Drive process improvements in costing and efficiency, collaborating with vendors, study teams, Procurement, and Finance.
8. Support development of cost assumptions and baseline criteria for study proposals.
9. Conduct scenario analyses using vendor algorithms.
10. Support departmental deliverables related to Cost Management.
11. Assist in preparing for and following up on OPRB Meetings.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Biotech/Pharmaceutical/CRO sectors.
• Understanding of clinical development operational processes.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CRO and vendor bid grids.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of relevant industry experience, including prior clinical trial budgeting and outsourcing or procurement experience.

Salary range: $129,800 - $211,800 annually.
