As a Sr. Manager, Business Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our product organization’s operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Chief Product Officer, product management, engineering, and quality teams to optimize workflows, improve communication, and drive the successful launch and maintenance of our products. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating presentations that include strategic insights and updates for the board of directors, executive committee, and other key associates.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Chief Product Officer, prepares strategic insights, updates, and performance reports for the board of directors and executive committee, and ensures clear communication of key metrics and initiatives.
  • Oversees day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
  • Identifies and implements improvements in product development and delivery processes to enhance operational efficiency. Identifies potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful product operations.
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration between product management, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Supports ad hoc project management efforts, ensuring operational projects are completed on time.
  • Analyzes operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation of operational processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Manages relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for operational initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required.

B.S. in Information Security, Computer Science, or Business Management.

  • 8+ years of related experience, required. 3 to 5 years of experience in product operations, program management, or a related role.

People management experience with the ability to execute organization-wide projects, required.

  • 10+ years of related experience, preferred.
  • Comprehensive industry knowledge with an extensive understanding of Thryv products.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, analyze costs and benefits, evaluate options, and implement solutions while managing resources appropriately.
  • Expert negotiation skills with the ability to influence and drive decision-making with internal stakeholders, customers, and/or vendors.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop others.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate across all teams, levels, and functional areas of the organization.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritize and remain organized while handling multiple requests with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to travel less than 5% of the time.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.
  • Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.
