Job summary

GBU Life is seeking a Manager of Annuity New Business Processing & Transformation to lead operations, drive process excellence, and steer strategic transformation of the new business function. You will manage the end-to-end annuity application process, champion efficiency, and elevate customer experience.

The role requires deep knowledge of annuities and regulatory requirements, plus hands-on leadership to coach a diverse team and collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance Operations Management or related field.
• 7+ years in annuity operations or insurance operations.
• 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Deep knowledge of annuity products and regulatory environment.
• Strong operational leadership and change management skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of AML regulations and compliance standards.
• FLMI, CAS or similar designation preferred.
• Six Sigma or Lean methodologies experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of new business processors to meet SLAs.
• Oversee end-to-end annuity application processing and reviews.
• Drive process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management across processes.
• Collaborate with Technology, Compliance, Product, Sales and Customer Service teams.
• Monitor KPIs like turnaround times, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide ongoing training and development to team members.
• Maintain privacy/data governance and respond to incidents as needed.
