Job summary

Tanium is seeking a Manager, Business Development to lead Frontier Labs and Strategic Partnerships. You will manage relationships with AI providers and ecosystem partners, analyze opportunities, and help drive joint go-to-market programs that generate pipeline and revenue. This role requires strong strategic and analytical thinking, plus excellent collaboration across the organization.

Hybrid schedule with in-office requirements in Addison, TX and other U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, corporate development, strategy consulting, alliances, or a related role within tech.
• Experience supporting or managing technology partnerships end-to-end, from identifying opportunities to joint GTM execution.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with ability to model opportunities and inform decisions.
• Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, frontier labs, and enterprise security/IT operations.
• Excellent communication and influence to engage internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Enablement.
• Drive and adaptability in a high-growth environment.
• Strong alignment with Tanium’s values and culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage frontier AI partnerships and relationships with AI model providers and startups.
• Evaluate and prioritize strategic opportunities using market research and analyses.
• Develop joint solutions and GTM initiatives with partners.
• Support OEM and technology partnership execution across SIEM, SOAR, ITAM, ITSM, AI ops.
• Coordinate with internal teams to launch and support partner initiatives.
• Advocate for strategic partners internally and educate stakeholders.
• Track partner metrics like pipeline and influenced revenue to refine strategies.
• Support adjacency expansion and potential acquisitions.
• Represent Tanium at industry events and partner meetings.
