CVS Health in the United States seeks a Senior Manager Modernization to lead Integration Engineering Platform modernization, transforming legacy apps into scalable cloud-native solutions using AI-assisted, automation-first approaches.

You will own end-to-end modernization initiatives across re-platforming, refactoring, and microservices, with a focus on Azure, AWS, and GCP, automation, and governance. Join a team driving measurable improvements in performance, resilience and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

7+ years of software engineering experience with people and delivery leadership.
5+ years leading large-scale modernization or platform transformation programs.
Strong experience modernizing legacy systems using cloud, automation, and AI-assisted techniques.
Solid understanding of microservices, event-driven systems, API design, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage software development teams modernizing legacy applications using AI-assisted and automation-driven workflows.
Manage the Work Intake from Business teams and ensure timely delivery of projects that meet business needs.
Own end-to-end delivery of modernization initiatives, including re-platforming, re-factoring, strangler patterns, and selective rewrites, accelerated through automation.
Drive predictable, high-quality delivery using Agile and DevOps practices enhanced with automated pipelines and AI insights.
Ensure modernization outcomes improve scalability, resiliency, performance, and developer productivity.
Define and execute AI-driven modernization strategies, including GenAI-assisted code analysis, refactoring, and documentation.
