The role emphasizes coaching leaders, coordinating with Product and Design, and advancing AI-native PDLC adoption across teams, while delivering reliable software and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Roughly 10–15 years of relevant experience with people management experience.
• Experience leading a full team (hiring, performance, delivery, growth) and developing other leaders.
• Hybrid leadership credibility—managing other managers while running a team directly.
• Multi-team coordination with shared standards and cross-team commitments.
• Partnership with Product and Design peers at multi-team scope.
• Comfort leading through cross-team crises and outages.
• Experience driving AI-native engineering-practice changes across teams.
• Honest, direct communication and early hard conversations.

Responsibilities

• Develop Managers and Team Leads who report to you—growth through coaching.
• Directly manage engineers on at least one team with hiring and performance expectations.
• Keep hiring and performance bars consistent across teams in your scope.
• Align area understanding of customer, business, and OKRs/KPIs with Product peers.
• Set and hold the standard for business fluency across teams.
• Align delivery across teams and manage cross-team dependencies.
• Drive AI-native and Agentic PDLC adoption across teams.
• Develop the next generation of leaders within the teams you manage.
