Job summary

GovPilot is hiring for a senior engineering leader to scale an AI-native organization across three product lines. You will align engineering execution with business outcomes, govern AI tooling adoption, and ensure staffing plans meet roadmap goals. You will report to the VP of Engineering & Product and guide a multi-geo team.

You will drive governance for code provenance, security review, and data handling, delivering measurable delivery impact across cycle time and quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with leadership experience at director level or higher.
• Proven delivery ownership across multiple concurrent products.
• Experience leading distributed global teams and managing managers.
• Deep technical depth to evaluate system design and risk.
• Strong program and operations management with durable processes.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery across three product lines with end-to-end accountability.
• Define and instrument engineering KPIs and automate reporting.
• Partner with Product to build credible capacity models and roadmaps.
• Lead staffing and capacity planning across geographies and projects.
• Directly manage engineering managers and leads, overseeing hiring and performance.
