Job summary

Optain is seeking a Senior Manager, Customer & Commercial Operations to lead US customer operations, from hardware deployment and inventory to service and contracting. You will stand up the US service function, manage manufacturing partnerships, and own contract execution for commercial agreements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in operations roles with hands-on ownership of hardware logistics or contract management.
• Startup experience in a Series A/B environment is preferred.
• Experience in regulated health tech or medical device sectors is a plus.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to define processes and own outcomes with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Own US customer operations from hardware deployment to servicing and contracts.
• Forecast demand against sales pipeline and coordinate with manufacturing partners.
• Stand up and run the US service function from scratch.
• Draft, negotiate, and execute customer contracts with internal/external counsel.
• Build scalable contracting templates, workflows, and playbooks; ensure data rights compliance.
• Draft internal policies and SOPs; automate workflows with AI tools.
