L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Systems Engineering for the Acoustics & Imaging Systems Division Functional Engineering.

The role leads cross-discipline teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities, shape strategy with senior leaders, and drive program execution with Agile practices. The position offers on-site leadership in Millersville, with up to 25% travel and the possibility of a Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of related experience. Graduate Degree with 10 years. In lieu of a degree, 16 years experience.
5+ years of management and cross-functional leadership experience.
4+ years driving multi-discipline engineering execution in matrixed environments.
4+ years workforce planning, staffing, recruiting, talent development.
2+ years EVMS/CAM responsibilities and proposal development.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-discipline engineering teams, planning, staffing, execution, and improvement.
Own scope, schedule, budget, and technical quality across projects and programs.
Implement an integrated operating model with clear ownership and accountability.
Establish repeatable engineering processes and shared metrics for interoperability.
Lead across a portfolio to align priorities and deliver results.
Build workforce plans to meet current and future needs.
Own recruiting, performance management, and development of teams.
Drive engineering rigor and verification to reduce rework.
Enable Agile delivery and rapid prototyping while ensuring safety and compliance.
Collaborate with Program Management and Chief Engineers on proposals and manpower planning.
