Job summary

Vituity seeks a Senior Manager, Accounting to provide technical direction within the accounting department, oversee AP and AR, and ensure GAAP-based financial statements and audits. Remote, nationwide, with eligibility for the annual Success Sharing bonus program.

You will develop plans for staff, mentor accountants, and drive timely monthly closes while supporting NetSuite and EPBCS initiatives. A strong GAAP background and 8+ years in accounting are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of accounting experience.
• 5+ years of progressive management experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with NetSuite, ADP, Coupa and Concur preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP and AR daily operations.
• Ensure GAAP-based entity financial statements and site statements.
• Coordinate annual audit and maintain internal controls.
• Manage monthly close with timely and accurate recording.
• Support ERP and planning tool implementations (NetSuite, EPBCS).

Job description

Vituity is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting to provide technical direction within the accounting department, oversee AP and AR, and ensure all accounting is done in accordance with GAAP, including entity financial statements and the annual audit.

Remote, nationwide. Eligible for the annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program.

What you'll do

• Create development plans for staff and mentor staff accountants
• Oversee the daily operation and function of the AP and AR team
• Generate GAAP basis entity financial statements and site income statements and balance sheets
• Establish and monitor internal controls and coordinate the annual audit
• Ensure the monthly close is completed timely and transactions are accurately recorded
• Support NetSuite bank reconciliation and EPBCS implementation

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
• 8+ years of accounting experience
• 5+ years of progressive management experience
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial statements
• Experience with NetSuite, ADP, Coupa and Concur preferred
