Job summary

The role requires ARRT and mammography credentials, state licensure, and experience with PACS/RIS. You will participate in QA/QC, patient education, and interprofessional collaboration in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current Rhode Island license to practice radiologic technology.
• Current ARRT certification with mammography credential.
• ISCD or ARRT certification if BD exams are performed.
• Compliant with MQSA and related quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Explain mammography and bone density exams to patients to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure safety and comfort of all patients per standards.
• Schedule Bone Density and Mammography exams efficiently.
• Operate radiology equipment and process images for PACS/RIS submission.
• Maintain QA/QC for mammography unit and bone density procedures.
