Job summary

Edward-Elmhurst Health is seeking a Sr. Diagnostic Imaging Assistant at EVH Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. The role is PRN/part-time, with day shifts and rotating weekends. You will greet patients, schedule and verify information, and input data into EPIC with accuracy.

Requirements include a high school degree or equivalent, CPR certification, and 1–2 years of secretarial supervisory experience with medical terminology. Proficiency in word processing and 25–35 wpm typing is expected.

Responsibilities

Greet all patients entering the Mammography department and assist with patient issues.
Schedule, check in, register, and verify information for patients.
Input patient information into the EPIC system with high accuracy.
Contacts doctors’ offices and patients as needed to obtain orders.
Regular communication with technical staff.
Assisting with secretarial duties as needed.
