Job summary

Set of X is seeking experienced malware analysts to dissect threats and reverse-engineer malware and APTs. You will uncover functionality, document findings, and contribute to incident response for federal partners.

You will work with intelligence analysts, software developers, and cybersecurity teams to build detection tools, automate analysis with Python and C/C++, and stay current on threats. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and a technical background with a B.S.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in tech with a B.S. in a technical discipline.
• Proven malware analysis and reverse engineering background.
• Experience using disassembly and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, dissect, and reverse-engineer malware and APTs to uncover functionality and impact.
• Identify vulnerabilities and exploits; develop tools to enhance analysis and threat detection.
• Collaborate with intelligence analysts, developers and cybersecurity teams; document findings clearly.
