Job summary

Fort Worth Country Day School in Fort Worth, TX seeks an experienced Major Gifts Manager to advance philanthropy. This full-time, exempt role reports to the Director of Advancement and focuses on identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding gifts of $50,000 or more.

You will manage a portfolio of mid to high level donors, draft proposals, and work with volunteers and staff across the school to deepen donor relationships and support campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fundraising or related field.
• 8–10 years fundraising experience.
• 3+ years in major gifts fundraising.
• Proven track record of securing gifts of $50,000+.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major donors and create cultivation/solicitation plans.
• Draft compelling proposals, briefings and donor communications.
• Collaborate with annual giving, alumni relations and advancement services to build donor pipelines.
• Represent FWCD at donor events and cultivate prospects.
• Recruit, train and guide volunteers to support major gift initiatives.
