Easterseals DC MD VA seeks a Major Gifts Officer to build and manage relationships with high-net-worth donors, foundations, and corporate partners across DC, Maryland and Virginia.

The role reports to the Senior Vice President of Development in a full-time, exempt position based in Maryland, with a focus on growing the major gifts portfolio and advancing the organization's mission to create equity and access for people with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
• Proven major gifts fundraising track record
• Ability to lead, collaborate with teams, and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of fundraising regulations and tax implications

Responsibilities

• Identify major gift prospects and assess donor capacity
• Cultivate and solicit major gifts from high-net-worth individuals
• Steward major gift donors and manage ongoing relationships
• Track prospects and donor activity in Raiser's Edge and internal systems
