Job summary

Chestnut Health Systems in Madison, IL is seeking a senior maintenance worker to manage a variety of tasks from carpentry to basic electrical work. The role involves preparing vacated rooms, maintaining vehicles, and performing building audits.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $20.00 - $21.00 an hour.

Hours are primarily daytime, but some evening and weekend hours may be required. This full-time position will be based in our Madison, IL location.

• Two years’ experience in a lead role is preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and to work flexible hours.
• Able to lift and push a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Able to climb and work from a ladder. Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must have valid driver's license, private auto insurance, and be insurable.
