Job summary

Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) is seeking a Senior Maintenance Work Planner to develop Activity Level Work Control Documents (ALWCDs) for NNSS maintenance. The role is based in the forward area, reporting to the Maintenance Planning Supervisor, emphasizing planning, coordination with SMEs, and safe work execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience with minimum 5 years progressive related experience.
• Previous experience with government CMMS software is preferred.
• Able to use PC, printers, copiers, scanners, telephones, fax machines, calculators, and other general office equipment.
• Able to follow oral and written instruction and follow through on assignments.
• Able to plan/organize work to complete efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Pre-placement physical examination and drug screen are required; DOE security requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate job walkdowns and tabletop reviews to develop scopes of work.
• Identify and involve planning team members and SMEs.
• Facilitate hazard analysis to mitigate work hazards.
• Ensure ALWCD includes permits, checklists, and approvals for safe execution.
• Analyze labor/material requirements and input into IBM Maximo.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, project managers and SMEs for ALWCD input.
• Provide mentorship and training for other planners.
