Job summary

IDEX Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain complex manufacturing equipment and facility systems at CVI Laser Optics. You will act as a technical escalation point, mentor other technicians, and drive reliability improvements and capital projects in collaboration with Engineering and Facilities.

The role requires a high school's diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with added value for cleanroom or precision

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including complex equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience in cleanroom, semiconductor, optical, aerospace, medical device, or other precision manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with controls and automation systems such as Niagara, PLCs, ladder logic, Ignition, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls-related failures in manufacturing equipment and cleanroom systems.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, facilities, and utilities.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, commissioning and capital projects with Engineering and Facilities.
