dsm-firmenich in Belvidere, NJ is seeking a Senior Technician, Maintenance to perform predictive and preventive maintenance on plant equipment, troubleshoot, and implement improvements in accordance with cGMP, SOPs and safety guidelines.

You will work on gearboxes, air locks, pumps, blowers, conveyors and assist with piping repairs; on‑call support is required. This full-time on-site role offers a comprehensive rewards package and career growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• A High School Diploma or GED is required. A technical school education in a mechanical discipline is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose problems, repair blowers, pumps, air locks, gear boxes, conveyors, prefabrication and installation of piping, valves and pipe threading.
• Ability to provide emergencies and call in support as required.

Aufgaben

• Fill out and review work permit in conjunction with operation personnel prior to starting a job.
• Ensure all lockout – tagout procedures are followed.
• Locate equipment problems and discuss potential causes.
• Recommend practical solutions of technical causes.
• Diagnose problems and repair blowers, pumps, airlocks, gearboxes, conveyors, valve installation, pipe welding is a plus, threading and installation. Use of laser alignment tools is preferred.
• Repair damages and defects to equipment as per technical instructions and discuss.
• Additional responsibilities as defined and provided by leadership.
