Job summary

Trojan Battery Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician III in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The role requires expert knowledge of plant machinery, electrical and mechanical maintenance, and PLC troubleshooting to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will read blueprints, use a range of gauges and instruments, train others, and support Lean and safety initiatives while upholding quality policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5-8 years in industrial maintenance (electrical/mechanical).
• Experience troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs – 3 years.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel).
• Experience computing rate, ratio, and percent; reading bar graphs.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of Level I/II as assigned.
• Read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Operate a wide range of tools and instruments (micrometers, calipers, voltmeters, gauges; hand/tools; computers).
• Advise supervisor of problems and perform repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment containing PLCs using ladder logic and analysis.
